This client has a medical condition called Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. (PCOS) With this condition one of the side effects is hair growth on the upper lip, chin, and the side of the face. If the condition is severe enough, a physician can prescribe medications that may help balance the amount of male hormones that are secreted into the blood stream.
