This photo is a of a woman in her 30's that needed the hair removed permanently. The statements about Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) apply to the chin also. These are hormonally sensitive areas, called male pattern areas. If the body doesn’t supply the proper balance of estrogen and testosterone it can and will produce coarse hair in these male pattern areas.

After photo taken after 2 months without an electrology treatment. Note that not only is the hair gone, but the irritation is absent also

The before photo to the right is of a woman in her 50’s that was finding it difficult to where her hair short because of all of the short, naturally curly hair at the nape of her neck. The hair had so much natural curl in it that it actually pushed her long hair up causing it to look unnatural.

After completing her electrolysis treatment schedule, the time needed for an electrolysis follow up is usually less that 60 minutes per year. With the hair removed, she can wear her hair style short or as long as she wants and it is always nice and smooth at the back of her neck.
