Q: Why can’t all of the hairs be removed within a few visits?
A: Only 20% - 30% of the total hair is above the skin on any area at any one time. From our research we know that all of the hairs on almost all of the areas of the body have a 120 day (4 month) growing cycle. Each unwanted hair must be treated within the first week of appearing above the skin. This catches the tiny, dark, target hairs at the smallest, most vulnerable time of the hair’s growing cycle (anagen hair). When electrolysis is effectively applied at this first stage of the cycle of growth, the electrolysis treatment results are usually 95% permanent hair removal.

Q: How many electrolysis treatments will I need for my specific problem area?
A: The more consistent and regular a client can be with their electrolysis treatment schedule the more efficient and effective electrolysis will be. When specifically designing a treatment schedule for a client, many variables are taken into consideration such as the density of the hair, the size of the area, how the hair was previously removed, and any underlying reasons as to why hair has developed in that area.

Q: I've had hair on my face for over 22 years and have tried everything on the market; creams, gadgets, and even professional services, all promising permanent hair removal and nothing has come close to working permanently. How can electrolysis be any different?
A: Electrolysis has a 132 year record of being a permanent method of removing hair. Many women and men have come to us as a final attempt to rid themselves of hair in embarrassing places. We can honestly say that, when a client makes a commitment to complete at least 90% of their electrolysis treatment schedule, up to a 95% permanency rate can be achieved.

Q: I have heard that electrolysis is expensive. How expensive is it?
A: Electrolysis is not costly per treatment. It does require consistent treatments, but it is usually comparable to other beauty treatments. Unlike visiting your beauty salon, electrolysis ends when all hairs are removed from the desired area.

Q: Are the treatments uncomfortable?
A: There is a slight sensation. However, we do have available to us topical anesthetics to help keep the treatments extremely comfortable for you.
